  Cherhill's new all-weather running track has been put in to use this term with the children really enjoying taking part in the daily mile.

  Well done to the year 3 & 4 footballers who played in a Calne schools tournament today. Cherhill sent two teams along and the 'A ' team came away as champions. All of the children were a credit to the school. Well done!

  Well done to the Year 5 & 6 football team who played in a Calne schools tournament last week. The children played brilliantly and were super ambassadors for Cherhill school.

  We are pleased to announce we remain a Good school as validated by Ofsted in their latest inspection. The positive report comments on the high standards of pupils behaviour, raised expectations of what they can achieve and how pupils feel safe and staff know them well.

• Sing up Success

  Well done to the school's amazing Sing Up group who competed in the Wootton Bassett Music Festival yesterday and won first prize for their efforts. Thanks to Mrs Lammin and all who helped with the event.

• Summer Fayre

  Cherhill Primary held a Summer Fayre in amazing weather on the 23rd June. The Fayre, organised by the PTA, was really well attended and featured many stalls run by the children of the school. Thanks to everyone who helped out and to the PTA who raised in the region of £1500 for the school. 

• Y12 Visit to We the Curious

  Year 1 & 2 had a fantastic day out to 'We the Curious' in Bristol. They explored Science themed exhibits and had a wonderful time. After lunch the children were treated to a super 'Bubble' themed show. The children behaved brilliantly and were a credit to the school.

  

• Cricket Success

  Well done to all the children who took part in  a cricket tournament on May 23rd. The team played with fantastic sportsmanship and one of our teams came away as champions on the day!

  

• Netball Success

  Cherhill Netball team performed brilliantly to finish first out of all the teams who finished 2nd in the first round at a local Netball tournament. Well done all involved!

• Tag Rugby Champions

  Well done to the children from year 5 & 6 who took part in  a tag rugby tournament at Beversbrook on Thursday 26th April. The team played brilliantly and came away from the tournament as champions. Well done Cherhill!
