  • Swimming Gala

    Well done to our team of Year 4,5 and 6  swimmers who competed in the Calne Schools Swimming Gala today. The children did brilliantly and finished 2nd overall. Well done all who took part.

    Last week Year 3 and 4 put on a brilliant production of Grimm - Once Upon a Musical. The children performed two shows and had great fun in the process. Well done to all the Pearl & Ruby class

  • Lamb Visit

    Today Emerald class had a visit from some lambs and a sheep as part of their 'Down on The Farm' topic. The children got to feed the animals and sit in the tractor and see some piglets too. Great fun was had by all.

  • Bob the Dog

    We are delighted to welcome our new Therapy Dog, Bob 🐶 

    Bob, who belongs to Mrs Marsh, is a trained and fully qualified Pets As Therapy (PAT) dog, and will visit school a couple of times a week He had his first day in school yesterday, and judging by his waggy tail, he really enjoyed listening to some of our wonderful readers

  • World Book Day

    The children had a lovely day for World Book Day. They dressed up to celebrate the day and were treated to a visit by Andy Stanton, the author of the Mr Gum books.

  • Music Assembly

    On the 4th March the whole school was treated to a special music assembly to start the day. Musicians from the West of England Youth Orchestra came to Cherhill to play music and teach the children about their instruments. The children were treated to compositions and solos played on the harp, piano, trumpet and cello.  

  • Young Voices concert

    The choir had an amazing time at the highly anticipated Young Voices Concert in Birmingham. The choir sang their hearts out to the delight of friends and family alike. We were so proud of their behaviour, attitude, commitment and incredible singing. and they did both Cherhill Primary School and themselves proud.
