Christmas Online Fayre - on Facebook - THIS IS NOW CLOSED FOR 2020

Online Christmas Fayre

Normally we would hold a Christmas Fayre at the school and invite you all to come and enjoy some festive stalls to help us raise money for our fundraising efforts for additional school equipment and support that is required.

This year we have taken our event online to Facebook - and hope that we can tickle your Christmas purchasing wishes with some of the locally inspired, small business offerings.

Please peruse the offerings from the comfort of your own home (with your chosen beverage in hand) and get in contact with the sellers to purchase or enquire about your wishes and wants!

Thank you for your support, and happy shopping!

Now if you are anything like me you will have a Sweet Tooth! If so, Zoe is your lady.  From her amazing cupcakes, traybakes, birthday and special occasion cakes – there is not much that Zoe doesn’t turn her hand to.  And at this time of year – what better than to indulge in some of her Christmas fare.  Please see the shared post below – or go straight to her via https://www.facebook.com/sweettoothwilts.  Zoe thank you for your forever support of the Friends of Cherhill PTA – we hope that you will have a sugar filled festive period, and your order books fill up for 2021.

So many amazing and creative gifts to choose from – where can I start when talking about Amy’s creations?  Cosmic Sloth Creations provide specialised personalised gifts and Christmas items.  Amy can add any name or design to the items that she has. Teachers gifts, Christmas stockings, drinks bottles, decorations, clothing, wine bags, bookmarks, mugs – so much to choose from, you could spend a long time and a lot of money!  See our shared post of the products, or head over to https://www.facebook.com/Cosmic-Sloth-Creations-106333144592737/ to see the full range.  Amy – we are so pleased you chose to support us by taking a stall, thank you so much, and we wish you season’s greetings and prosperity for 2021.

For me Bodyshop conjures up memories of white musk and dewberry – but then I am that bit older!  Nicole is supporting our fayre this year with her Bodyshop collection.  Nicole is quite new to Bodyshop – and when she’s not making people smell and look amazing with over 900 skincare, make-up, haircare and body products inspired by nature and ethically made from Bodyshop, she is the right hand woman at The Black Horse in Cherhill – supporting Andy since he took it over in September.  Please have a look through this shared post of some of her offerings – or head over to her Facebook page:

Nicole – thank you for supporting the local school, and welcome to Cherhill. We hope your Bodyshop business blossoms and you have a great Christmas and New Year.

Introducing Rainbow Pony Publishing (if you haven’t had the fortune to come across them before.). Georgie Hibberd is not only one of the fantastic Mums from Cherhill School, but she is also a fantastic artist and creator. The Rainbow Pony Concept came into being during the early days of COVID-19 due to Georgie being placed on furlough from her teaching role.  With over 100 drawings of children and their ponies that Georgie had drawn, the idea sprung into her mind to create the colouring in book from where her range has now grown.  Georgie has now sold over 1000 copies of her 7 books across the UK and abroad.  Georgie also runs a very successful pet portrait business (Georgie Hibberd Art) I just wish I had her creativity and skills.  Find out more about Rainbow Pony Publishing through our shared link or at https://www.rainbowponypublishing.com/ or https://www.facebook.com/RainbowPonyPublishing/ .  Thank you, Georgie, also for your kind donation to our Online Auction – you are an amazing supporter of the school and we are very grateful.  Best of luck for the rest of 2020 and for 2021, we look forward to seeing more titles in your range and your continued success!

SCENTS WITH CHARLOTTE being run by Charlotte Louise Henderson. Charlotte is a Scentsy rep who is offering a beautiful collection of decorative warmers, diffusers, essential oils, personal care products and scented cleaning and laundry products.  Charlotte joined Scentsy for several reasons – from the love of the products, building her own collection, some extra income, and supporting her 3 children.  As Scentsy have no flames, it is also a safe product to have around with her young family as the wax does not heat over a safe 51.6 degrees Celsius.  To find more of Charlotte’s range head over to https://charlottehenderson.scentsy.co.uk and don’t leave it too late if you need it by Christmas.  The Fragrance Flower looks amazing – I might have to order one now!  Thank you, Charlotte, for your support – we wish you a prosperous and very happy Christmas.

Hannah Hunter-Kelm, where can I start… Beautiful original, fun illustrations and prints.  Whether you are looking for a mug, cards, notebooks, posters, books, with her use of animals, game birds, places, events, textures and plants, Hannah has everyone covered.  I am particularly in love with her Bourbon Biscuit mug and the Cherhill Downs Print (which is low in stock so I better hurry!). Hannah was born and raised in Wiltshire, but now lives up in Leeds with her family.  She is a printmaking and book binding instructor when she is not with her family or plunging into a large body of water for a swim.  Hannah’s favourite colour is sea green – but if you ask tomorrow it may have changed! Check out all of Hannah’s products on her Etsy shop www.Etsy.com/uk/shop/HannahHunterKelm.  Hannah we wish you and your family and safe and wonderful Christmas.  Thank you for supporting our little school by taking a stall at our online fayre!

Who doesn’t need extra colour in their life to brighten it up?  The lovely Amy Waldon provides this and so much more.  Amy is a Bristol Mum who is the inspiration behind these beautiful pieces of jewellery, home accessories, teddies, bunting, clocks, mugs, gift cards, bunting to name but a few – and at this time of year, some with a festive flavour.  As Amy says “I hope my colourful pieces bring a little bit of joy to you and brighten the lives of the people you care about.”  So please head on over to check out the wonderfully brilliant and bright collection of fabulous products via the online fayre or https://www.colourmagpie.com/ .  Amy – thank you for not only bringing your passion and cheery brightness to products, but for also bringing them to our fayre and supporting our school.  Good luck with Colour Magpie – we hope it flourishes and continues to bring joy!

Jess Edwards is a FM (Frederico Mahora) Perfume distributor.  FM UK started back in 2006, and today provides a large range of fragrances of all types: fresh, flowery, oriental, woody, fruity and many more.  I for one am a particular fan of number 20, and am currently trying out number 24 – not sure what that will tell you about me? Please contact Jess through the online fayre for a list of the available perfumes – for her, for him, skin care, bathing, body care. Thank you Jess for joining our fayre – we wish you the best of luck with your business, and hope 2021 brings you everything you wish.

Last but not least – Twinkling Bliss… A newly formed sparkling business that has brought Helen’s love of fairy lights and another love of bottles together.  Helen has always loved fairy lights and has them everywhere at home all year round, and so now adds them to recycled bottles, making them beautiful! Her bottles are not just about putting a couple of light in a bottle - they are about creating as much twinkle as possible into life by using as many LED lights as possible within a bottle.  Helen is also creating bottles with wired bulbs, hanging pendant wine bottle shades, candle holders and plant pots. Decoration can be as simple as a ribbon, or a complicated as you.  Please check out her stall on the fayre, or follow her on https://www.facebook.com/TwinklingBliss/ or http://www.twinklingbliss.com/

This last one was a weird share for me to write, as I am in fact Helen (Twinkling Bliss) – Chair of the PTA, and so rather than thanking myself for supporting, I would actually like to take this opportunity to thank everyone again who has browsed the fayre, purchased and supported our vendors – and to our sellers themselves for joining us.
